• Kayaking – one or two person ocean kayaks are available. The friendly beach staff provides paddles, life vests and safety instructions. 
• Sailing – when wind and sea conditions allow, sailing in Kahuwai Bay can be exhilarating. Sunfish and Lazer sailboats are available. (Experience in dinghy-class sailing is required). 
• Clear Bottomed Boogie Boards –provide a fun glimpse at the bay’s resident “honu” (turtles) that feed under boat moorings, the reef beneath and hundreds of rainbow-colored fish that dart about.
• Outrigger Canoes and Surfboards – try your skill with an outrigger canoe or surfboard, two “water-based activities” indigenous to Hawaii!
