Na Keiki in Paradise Children’s Program

Na Keiki In Paradise      Family Reunions

Ohana, or family, is the essence of the Hawaiian culture, and keiki, or children, are shaped from their heritage. Youthful hearts are full of wonder and our complimentary children’s program is offered daily (except May and September) for ages 6 to 12.

Na Keiki in Paradise promotes the Hawaiian culture through locally flavored activities. Keiki have an opportunity to live in the shadows of those memories through fishing contests, Hawaiian net throwing, ama ama (crab) catching – always good for squeals and screams of delight – coconut painting, net throwing, and Hawaiian crafts, mixed with pool visits and ball games.

Teens may seek more adventurous options, such as kayaking, snorkeling tours, sunfish sailing lessons, volleyball, and more.

Special children’s dinner service is offered nightly should mom and dad prefer a quiet, late night dinner on their own.

Children and adults have ample opportunity to learn about the rich history of Ka’upulehu and Kona Village Resort during complimentary historical property tours and tours to the resort’s centuries-old petroglyph field.

The village-experience means children in particular feel a sense a freedom and wonder as they explore the resort’s 82-acres with newly made friends from around the world. Yet resort staff is always nearby keeping a watchful eye.

Busy days in the bay, games in the pool, Hawaiian crafts, walking tours and evenings of stargazing ensure every child, and every parent, a restful night’s sleep enveloped by the extraordinary ambiance of Kona Village.
