Under the capable direction of Tennis Professional Andy Klug, Kona Village Resort’s three-court tennis facility is equally popular with guests who are avid tennis players or those who are anxious to learn the game.
Klug enjoyed a successful United States Tennis Association (USTA) junior career and a ranking among the top players on the Hawai’i Grand Prix Circuit in singles and doubles. He skillfully utilizes his degree in psychology to help guests seeking to maximize their abilities and enjoyment of the game of tennis regardless of their level of play.
Klug has been with Kona Village Resort nearly twenty years and is certified by the USTA. Through complimentary daily clinics and round robins or via private lessons, Klug’s techniques are equally helpful to beginners, intermediate or tournament-level players. Regardless of the player’s circumstance, the end result is always greater enjoyment, which leads to better performance and fun.
